Building Time

The Construction time for a single Pod is usually within 8-12 weeks.

All of our regular suppliers of materials currently have good stocks, and we also keep our own limited reserve stock in case delays in the supply of materials occur.

Our suppliers are large firms like Bunnings, Mitre 10, Stratco, Pro-Truss, all of which have a healthy trading history with Oakley Pods.

We make our purchases with cash, so we get a special priority for our business.

There should be no hold-ups due to the supply of materials.

 

We employ two regular teams of experienced and qualified tradesmen, who also have Apprentice’s working with them, learning their skills.

These teams are organised by the Oakley Pod’s management, who schedule their services to arrive on site, on time.

 

Of course, there are many factors that can influence a smooth labour operation, namely, personal sickness, wet or hot weather conditions, compassionate leave or holidays, but Oakley Pods do their best to manage these situations.

 

If at any time there is an unprecedented demand for our Pods, Owners will be properly advised on realistic starting dates and rescheduled construction times.

We will not accept contracts which are beyond the scope of our capabilities.

 

Because Oakley Pods use prefabricated materials, ordering of all components will be made as soon as the Owner signs a Preliminary Order and Contract Agreement with Oakley Pods.

Our fabricators then have a good lead-up time giving us accurate delivery dates.

  

Our whole concept is to construct Pods in an efficient and timely manner.
